AEW Dynasty will emanate from north of the border on Sunday with several Canadian stars featuring prominently on the card.

Chief among them is Kenny Omega, who will look to become a two-time AEW world champion when he faces MJF in the likely main event of the show.

Also, Chris Jericho will wrestle his first match in more than a year when he clashes with Ricochet, while Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will attempt to become AEW world tag team champions for the first time when they challenge FTR.

Top AEW Dynasty Matches to Watch

MJF vs. Kenny Omega

Despite being an executive vice president and one of the biggest stars in AEW history, it has been quite some time since Kenny Omega last held the biggest prize in the company.

Omega's first and only AEW world title reign lasted 346 days, which is the second-longest reign in the promotion's history. The one person who was able to surpass it was MJF, who did so during his first of two AEW world title reigns.

"Hangman" Adam Page beat Omega for the world title back in November 2021, and while Omega has had some opportunities to win it back, it simply hasn't happened.

Omega defeated Swerve Strickland to become No. 1 contender and earn an AEW World Championship match against MJF at Dynasty, meaning he enters the event with a ton of momentum.

However, MJF is arguably the most resourceful champion in AEW history, and he seemingly always finds a way to escape with a victory, which should make for a fun dynamic at Dynasty.

Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay

In a grudge match with high stakes, Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley will battle it out at Dynasty on Sunday.

At the conclusion of Forbidden Door back in August, Ospreay was the victim of a vicious attack orchestrated by Moxley and the Death Riders, landing Ospreay on the shelf for about seven months.

Ospreay made his surprise return last month at Revolution, targeting Mox and the Death Riders following Moxley's successful Continental Championship defense against Konosuke Takeshita.

At Dynasty, Ospreay will attempt to take the continental title from Moxley, while simultaneously exacting revenge for what was done to him last summer.

In many ways, Moxley vs. Ospreay is an intriguing clash of styles, and it could produce the best match of the entire card from an in-ring perspective.

FTR vs. Cope and Cage

Like Ospreay, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage returned last month at Revolution after a lengthy layoff, and much to the surprise of no one, they immediately set their sights on FTR.

At All Out back in September, Cope and Cage beat FTR in a tag team match, but FTR got the last laugh by attacking them afterward, and doing the same to Cope's wife, Beth Copeland.

That led to a six-month absence that ended at Revolution when Copeland and Christian showed up after FTR's successful title defense against The Young Bucks and took the fight to their rivals.

While Copeland and Cage have been rivals for much of their time together in AEW, Cope's initial goal after debuting in the company was to win tag team gold with Cage, and they will have a chance to do so at Dynasty after reconciling last year.

Given how hugely popular Cope and Cage are in Canada, the atmosphere for their match should be something special, and the pop will be enormous if they add to their impressive tag team résumé with another championship.
