Batter Hits Home Run on Backward Swing

This has to be the most bizarre home run in the history of either softball or baseball.

Renaud Lefort, the batter, set up to hit right-handed for Montreal's Les 4 Chevaliers. However, he stood in the left-handed batter's box, meaning that his back was to the plate.

A batting stance like that would make it impossible to make contact with the pitch, right?

Well, not only did he manage to put the bat on the ball, but he hit the ball out of the park. With that, he slugged what has to be the craziest three-run homer ever.

According to Fox Sports, "The Les 4 Chevaliers is a Montreal-based quartet that bills itself as the softball/baseball equivalent of basketball's infamous tricksters [the Harlem Globetrotters]."
