New Rams Mock Draft Expert Roundup for 1st-Round Pick
After nearly making it to the Super Bowl last season, the Los Angeles Rams are gearing up for another championship push.
They will look to maximize the value of Atlanta's first-rounder, acquired when the Falcons moved up to grab James Pearce Jr. last year. It's highly unlikely the Rams will be picking this high again for a long time.
Ahead of the first round of the draft on April 23, here's a look at what experts are projecting the Rams to do with the No. 13 pick:

4x All-Pro Justin Simmons Retires

Ranking Every Offense Post NFL Draft 🔢
Expert: B/R NFL Scouting Department (3/31)
Selection (No. 13): OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami
The Rams understand their window for another Super Bowl with Matthew Stafford at quarterback is closing. Their moves should be done with thought of doing everything possible to make life easier on the 38-year-old reigning MVP.
An investment in keeping the veteran signal-caller upright is the smartest possible decision. Miami's Francis Mauigoa can immediately replace Rob Havenstein, who chose to retire earlier this offseason.
"Mauigoa is widely considered the top offensive lineman in the class," B/R scout Brandon Thorn said. "His availability with the 13th overall pick and inserting him alongside one of the NFL's top right guards (Kevin Dotson) is the ideal outcome. The consensus All-American would have the luxury of operating in one of the league's most offensive line-friendly schemes under head coach Sean McVay, fitting perfectly inside their downhill, duo-based run game."

Summary
A Super Bowl-caliber team without any glaring needs can either look for an immediate starter at a position that could use competition or a long-term replacement. Although drafting a tackle would be ideal, it wouldn't be surprising to see Sean McVay pinpoint a prospect to be the long-term replacement for Davante Adams. The Rams could use another offensive piece to strengthen one of the league's top units.
