The Ringer's Todd McShay updated his 2026 NFL draft big board, with Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love continuing to occupy the top spot.
Ohio State linebacker/edge-rusher Arvell Reese moved up a few spots, overtaking teammate Caleb Downs and Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza to be No. 3 behind Love and fellow OSU linebacker Sonny Styles.

Todd McShay Big Board — Top 10
- Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
- Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
- Arvell Reese, EDGE/LB, Ohio State
- Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
- Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
- David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
- Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami
- Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
- Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
- Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
The top of McShay's board doesn't differ too much from those of ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah. Kiper and Jeremiah both have Mendoza at No. 1 followed by Love.
All three have Styles and Reese as top-five prospects as well.
The wide receiver is where some differences emerge.
Ohio State's Carnell Tate is the best at the position for McShay and Jeremiah, but Jeremiah has him four spots higher at No. 6. Kiper, meanwhile, has Tate behind Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson. Tyson is down in 15th for McShay, and Jeremiah has him even lower (No. 21).
Jeremiah is a bit of an outlier in his evaluation of Indiana's Omar Cooper Jr. He ranks the second-team All-Big Ten wideout at No. 18, with McShay putting him in 30th. Kiper's big board, which stopped with the 25 best players, omitted Cooper altogether and listed him eighth at the position.
In what's largely considered a weak quarterback class, McShay, Kiper and Jeremiah all have Alabama's Ty Simpson as the second-best behind Mendoza. Kiper is the most bullish of the three, ranking Simpson at No. 20 overall. McShay put him at 29th, with Jeremiah dropping him into second-round territory (No. 38).
The rest of McShay's QB hierarchy could generate some conversation. North Dakota State's Cole Payton (No. 67) and Arkansas's Taylen Green (No. 79) are third and fourth ahead of LSU's Garrett Nussmeier, Miami's Carson Beck and Penn State's Drew Allar.
