Titans 2026 NFL Schedule Released for Cam Ward, Robert Saleh's Debut Season

Andrew PetersMay 14, 2026

The Tennessee Titans are entering Year 2 of the Cam Ward era and Year 1 of the Robert Saleh era, and it's fair to say things could be looking up in Music City.

While the Titans are coming off another dreadful season, a new coaching staff, plus more development for their young quarterback, could mean Tennessee is in for a year of growth.

The Titans released their schedule for the 2026 campaign on Thursday.

Analysis

The AFC South has, in recent years, been one of the most winnable divisions, but that wasn't the case last year and likely won't be the case this year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had one of their best seasons in franchise history in 2025 to win the division, and the Houston Texans finished 12-5 behind arguably the best defense in the league.

Even the Indianapolis Colts were well on their way to making the playoffs before star quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a torn Achilles.

It's hard to imagine any of those teams facing a significant drop-off in 2026, so it's up to the Titans to catch up after being left behind last year.

Tennessee has plenty of winnable games across the board, with matchups against rebuilding squads like the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants, but the Titans also have plenty of established teams to go up against as well.

Pivotal Matchups

All six of Tennessee's divisional games will be pivotal this year as the Titans look to stun many by winning the AFC South.

None of those games will be easy, but it's fair to say they're all at least winnable.

The Titans likely won't be able to upset established teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens or Detroit Lions, so their best bet at picking up some wins will be against the Browns, Jets, Raiders and Giants.

If Tennessee can handle business in those games and pull off a few upsets, the Titans could be a surprise playoff team.
