Who is Dylan Betts? Everything to Know About 5-Star Recruit, 7'3" Brother of UCLA's Lauren Betts

UCLA has already kept in the family for senior center Lauren Betts by adding her sister, freshman forward Sienna, and another one of her siblings could soon follow.

Betts' younger brother, Dylan, is a 7'3" center for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He's listed as a 5-star recruit and the No. 4 center in the class of 2028 in 247Sports' composite, and he's already received offers from Purdue, Washington and UNLV.

Dylan Betts was invited to USA Basketball's 2025 Men's Junior National Team minicamp in San Antonio last April. The youngster spoke about the influence of his sisters, both of whom are FIBA gold medalists.

"You definitely learn a lot as you watch them," Betts said of his sisters. "They're very talented and they obviously know a lot. Watching both of them, you just learn what it takes to be a USA Basketball player and the communication you need, everything. All the confidence, and [they] just give off details on how to be a good USA Basketball player. It's a good role model."

As Lauren and Sienna led UCLA to its first NCAA women's basketball national championship on Sunday against South Carolina, Dylan could be the future of the men's team if he continues his upward trajectory and follows in his sisters' footsteps.
