Lil Yachty Blasts WWE Critics as Meme Trolls WrestleMania with Tom Brady, Pat McAfee, Celebs Poster
Lil Yachty laid out his WWE bonafides amid fan backlash to the growing list of celebrity involvement at WrestleMania 42.
After a fan-made WrestleMania poster featuring all of the non-wrestlers either confirmed or rumored to be part of the event was posted on X, Yachty responded by blasting the criticism of his involvement because he is an avid WWE fan.

Yachty appeared on Friday's episode of SmackDown, accompanying Trick Williams to the ring and accepted an invitation to appear at WrestleMania.
Williams and Lil Yachty were also at ringside for the main event match between Sami Zayn and Carmelo Hayes for the United States title. Zayn retained the title, but it was revealed afterward by Yachty that Williams would be challenging him for the championship at WrestleMania.
The fan backlash largely stems from the biggest angle on the show being the reveal that Pat McAfee is aligned with Randy Orton in his feud with Cody Rhodes for the undisputed WWE title.
Yachty and McAfee join a list of potential celebrities at the event that could include Tom Brady, Jelly Roll and IShowSpeed.
It's not uncommon for WWE to use outside celebrities to help draw interest in its biggest show of the year. This does seem like a larger-than-normal crop, but it could all end up working out fine by showtime.
Yachty at least seems to be glued into the product and wants to be part of something that has meant a lot to him throughout his life.
