Ranking MLB's Wildest Ballpark Foods in 2026

Tim KellyApr 4, 2026

These days, there are more options on the menu at ballparks than peanuts and Cracker Jack.

Perhaps we've swung a little too far in how many options are available at the 30 MLB stadiums, but it is impressive to see each team try to one-up each other with the craziest ballpark foods that can be concocted.

Here is a ranking of MLB's wildest ballpark foods in 2026.

10. Washington State Ferry Boat at T-Mobile Park

1 of 10

This is probably the tamest item in terms of food, whether you opt for chicken tenders, fish and chips or crab nachos. But it needed to be highlighted nonetheless because of the excellent presentation.

What makes this such a worthwhile investment is the reusability of the Washington State Ferry Boat. You can wash it out, take it home and continue to stock it with food, dipping sauces and perhaps even drinks moving forward.

Alternatively, it would look pretty cool on a shelf of memorabilia, too.

9. Pierogi Nacho at Comerica Park

2 of 10

If you head to Section 122 at Comerica Park, you can get this dish (?), which consists of "cheddar pierogi with hatch chili queso, polish kielbasa crumbles, caramelized onions and sauerkraut."

While something pierogi-based might seem more appropriate for one of the two Pennsylvania teams, this looks pretty great, particularly if you can exclude or pick around the sauerkraut.

Bonus points: If your heart doesn't give out from eating this, you can take home a full-size Detroit Tigers batting helmet replica.

8. Dubai Cinnamon Roll at Coors Field

3 of 10

The first of two items from Coors Field on our list, this is a "cinnamon roll topped with chocolate, vanilla ice cream, pistachios, caramel puff cereal and kataifi."

The Dubai part comes in with the kataifi, which is the pastry part on top of the cinnamon roll that includes the pistachios and other items.

Considering the Rockies gave up seven runs in the top of the first inning of their home opener after losing 119 games a year ago, they need as many attractions to get fans to Coors Field as possible.

7. D.C. Monument Chicken Tower at Nationals Park

4 of 10

Does anyone actually think this looks like the D.C. Monument?

As the Nationals slog through what will likely be another miserable season, fans will have 81 chances to try the D.C. Monument Chicken Tower, which is "a stacked sandwich featuring grilled chicken, smoked bacon, mixed greens, creamy chipotle ranch and Gruyère cheese on a soft pretzel bun."

The problem with sandwiches like this—even if you aren't turned off by the calorie intake—is that you end up eating most of it with a fork. This looks like if you took one bite of it, the whole thing would fall apart and make a mess.

6. Nutella Beignets at PNC Park

5 of 10

From the outside, these look very appetizing. It just depends whether you like Nutella. May we suggest a creamy alternative for those who aren't fans of hazelnut?

Even if you love Nutella, this looks more like a group item, because a little likely goes a long way. Does anyone really need more than one or two of these in a sitting?

5. Pizza Donut at Coors Field

6 of 10

Dick Monfort will do anything to avoid building a competitive baseball team.

We're half-joking, but as noted, the Rockies need to pull out all the bells and whistles to get fans to Coors Field, even if it's one of the most beautiful parks baseball has to offer. That includes "donuts covered in garlic butter, grated parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, marinara sauce, pesto sauce and Italian seasoning."

Suzie Hunter of Guerilla Sports offered her review at the top of this slide, and we'll defer to someone who has actually tried the item.

4. Rally Sombrero at Globe Life Field

7 of 10

This "food vessel contains chips, cheese, lettuce, jalapeños, pico de gallo and more," which will likely make you a fan of your friends if you're willing to take one for the team and wear this on your head for five or so innings.

Is it problematic to wear a rally sombrero depending on your background? It kind of feels like it might be.

At the very least, we need to make a social contract on this: If you're older than college-aged, you're too old to think you're too old to ironically wear this item for attention.

3. Schwarbomb Sundae at Citizens Bank Park

8 of 10

Kyle Schwarber returned to the Phillies on a five-year, $150 million contract this past offseason, and Citizens Bank Park—which will host the MLB All-Star Game this summer—has a new item to celebrate.

The Schwarbomb Sundae is a "mini helmet filled with soft-serve ice cream and topped with a funnel-cake-fried strawberry Uncrustable, fresh strawberry sauce and fruity cereal pieces."

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from this item is we need to find a way to make funnel-cake-fried Uncrustables—ideally in the excellent raspberry flavor— available to the general public.

2. Take Me Out to the Ballgame Shake at Chase Field

9 of 10

Will there be a single person who gets this item at an Arizona Diamondbacks game this year and finishes it? What about one who finishes and doesn't subsequently get sick?

All the individual items of the Take Me Out to the Ballgame Shake—which consists of "a salted caramel shake with whipped cream, peanut butter sandwich cookies, Kit Kat bars and Cracker Jack—sound great.

All of them together sounds like you would be overwhelmed before you even actually got to the shake part. A kid might be happy to down this whole thing, although good luck to any parent who then has to be with that child the rest of the game.

1. Dessert Chicken Bucket at Yankee Stadium

10 of 10

This is impressive work. At first glance, it looks like a bucket of fried chicken. But rather, it's "drumstick-shaped ice cream with a chocolate-covered cookie 'bone' center, a coating of white chocolate and candied corn flakes."

Unlike some of the other dessert items on this list, these are a size that you can actually imagine finishing, particularly if you're splitting the bucket with a friend. Hopefully, they don't melt too quickly.
