New NFL Draft Rumors on Arvell Reese's Visits With Cowboys, Chiefs, More Potential Landing Spots
Arvell Reese is a unsurprisingly a very popular man among teams picking near the top of the 2026 NFL draft.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Ohio State edge-rusher has visits planned with the New York Jets (No. 2 selection), Arizona Cardinals (No. 3), Tennessee Titans (No. 4), New York Giants (No. 5), Kansas City Chiefs (No. 9) and Dallas Cowboys (No. 12).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Alongside NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah having Reese off the board at No. 2, most mock drafts have him going to the Jets, including the B/R NFL Draft Scouting Department, Chad Reuter and Lance Zierlein of NFL Network and ESPN's latest rotating mock draft (Matt Miller made the selection), among others.
"Reese's position flexibility should intrigue a defensive-minded coach like Aaron Glenn and the team could have a couple of avenues to deploy him," B/R scout Matt Holder wrote. "Will McDonald IV and Joseph Ossai are both pass-rushers who struggle against the run, creating an opportunity for the former Buckeye to line up on the edge during early downs. Meanwhile, New York recognized its need at linebacker and signed Demario Davis, but the 37-year-old is only on a two-year contract to justify adding Reese as a long-term solution at linebacker."
Reese, 20, can play as both an edge-rusher and off-ball linebacker, registering 69 tackles (10 for loss), 6.5 sacks and two passes defensed for Ohio State last season. While his versatility is nice, mirroring Micah Parsons coming out of college, it's unlikely he would be receiving top-three projections if evaluators saw him as a long-term off-ball linebacker.
It's likely he'll ultimately settle into an edge-heavy role as his career progresses, though his versatility should make him quite the weapon if he lives up to his potential. In that regard, it isn't a surprise teams picking early in the draft are bringing him in for visits.
