It's another year when the Titans are picking in the top 10. With a new coaching staff moving with urgency based on their free-agent signings, it feels like they are gearing up to make a huge splash in the draft.

Selection (No. 4): RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame

The New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs, who own the eighth and ninth overall picks, respectively, immediately invested in veteran running backs at the onset of this year's free agency. Prior to that point, they were considered the favorites to select Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love. Instead, their actions indicate neither believes he'll be available later in the process.

Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans need offensive help in the worst way, and Love can enter the lineup as the unit's focal point.

"The improvement of Cam Ward's offensive ecosystem should be high on the Titans' to-do list," B/R scout Dame Parson said. "Love is an elite prospect with a special combination of running and receiving traits to impact the game on all three downs. He is an explosive home-run threat anytime he touches the football but still runs with enough power and contact balance to churn through longer drives. Ward doesn't need to be thrust into a Superman role this early in his career, while Love can serve as his Batman."

Summary

While head coach Robert Saleh could bolster his defensive front, there are strong indications the Titans will add to the centerpiece to their offense alongside Cam Ward. Love is an electrifying talent who can provide immediate dynamism to an offense in need of playmakers.
