Atlanta previously changed its jerseys in 2020.
Former Falcons quarterback and current president of football Matt Ryan previously detailed the process leading to the new uniforms.
"It's like a two-year process to get these uniforms," Ryan said during a Monday appearance on the Up & Adams Show (h/t Matt Urben of Falcons Wire). "First you've got to get it approved. You've got to say you're going to make a change, then there's an approval process and all this stuff. So this was going on long before I got there. I will say this: I approve."
Atlanta is looking to end an eight-year playoff drought in 2026, as the team enters its first season under new head coach Kevin Stefanski.
With quarterback Michael Penix Jr. recovering from ACL surgery, the Falcons signed Tua Tagovailoa to a one-year contract in free agency.
Regardless of whoever wins Atlanta's starting quarterback job, the team should continue to lean on star running back Bijan Robinson and wide receiver Drake London to carry its offense next season.
