New Carson Beck Rumors About Steelers, Dolphins, Cardinals Amid Jets Buzz Ahead of 2026 NFL Draft
After spending some time with the New York Jets last week, quarterback prospect Carson Beck reportedly has lined up a few more trips ahead of the 2026 NFL draft.
Per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, Beck has scheduled pre-draft visits with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals. He had a meeting and dinner with the Jets prior to his pro day with the Miami Hurricanes last week.
The four teams on Beck's list all have a glaring need for a future franchise quarterback.

The Dolphins signed Malik Willis after parting ways with Tua Tagovailoa, but the former Green Bay Packers backup is an unproven commodity. The Steelers are still waiting for Aaron Rodgers to decide on whether he will return to Pittsburgh for the 2026 campaign, but the 42-year-old obviously won't be around for long if he does. The Cardinals parted ways with former No. 1 pick Kyler Murray this offseason. The Jets reunited with Geno Smith but have struggled to find a franchise quarterback for years.
Beck spent five seasons at Georgia and won two national championships as a backup before taking over as the starter for his last two years. He transferred to Miami for his final season of eligibility in 2026 and helped lead the Hurricanes on a surprising run through the College Football Playoff to the national championship game, where they lost to Indiana.
In all, Beck ended his college career with a 37-6 record as a starter, 11,725 passing yards, 88 touchdowns and 32 interceptions. In its draft big board, B/R's NFL Scouting Department ranked him as the No. 5 quarterback in this year's class.
Beck will be hoping to hear his name called during the NFL draft from April 23-25, so he will certainly try to impress the teams he visits over the next few weeks.
