NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament 2026 Elite 8 Bracket Odds, Predictions for Monday

The final two teams in the Women's Final Four will be confirmed on Monday night in Fort Worth and Sacramento.

The Texas Longhorns and South Carolina Gamecocks are the top seeds and the heavy favorites in the two matchups.

Texas and South Carolina will attempt to join the other two No. 1 seeds, the UConn Huskies and UCLA Bruins, in Phoenix for the Final Four.

Madison Booker and Texas have been on cruise control in the first three rounds.

The Longhorns won all three of their games by 20+ points and held all of their opponents under 60 points.

Texas hasn't lost since February 12 and only one of its opponents scored over 65 points in that stretch.

Michigan won its three contests by 19 or more points, but it is not in the same class as Texas and the other three No. 1 seeds.

The Wolverines suffered five of their six defeats to ranked foes. Two of those losses were to UConn and UCLA, the first two confirmed Final Four participants.

Michigan did hang close with UConn and UCLA, as well as Vanderbilt, in three of its defeats, so there's at least a chance the Big Ten side covers the 9.5-point spread.

Texas will have the best player on the floor in Booker, as well as a sizable advantage in the crowd with the game in Fort Worth.

South Carolina faces the challenge of defending one of the best individual players in the nation in TCU's Olivia Miles.

The Notre Dame transfer has had at least 10 rebounds and eight assists in all three of her NCAA tournament games this year with the Horned Frogs.

Miles is also averaging 19.3 points per game in the Big Dance.

If South Carolina mitigates the impact Miles has on the game, it has an opportunity to cruise and cover the 14.5-point spread.

The Gamecocks are as battle-tested as they come in women's basketball after they went 15-1 in SEC play with nine wins over ranked opposition.

Dawn Staley's team eclipsed the 90-point mark in every game of the NCAA tournament. TCU's highest point total was 86 points in the first round.

If the Gamecocks can score at a high clip once again, as well as contain Miles, it should have no problem booking a spot in Phoenix and a matchup with UConn in the Final Four.
