Smith-Njigba joked that he wouldn't choose his Seahawks teammate, Devon Witherspoon, because he is "a wild guy." Ultimately, JSN said he would "happily get in the ring with" any corner from the Los Angeles Rams or San Francisco 49ers.
The 24-year-old wideout is coming off the best season of his career, as he earned Pro Bowl, First Team All-Pro and NFL Offensive Player of the Year honors by virtue of leading the league with 1,793 receiving yards on 119 catches, while scoring 10 touchdowns.
JSN also had 17 grabs for 199 yards and two touchdowns in three playoff games, as the Seahawks won the Super Bowl.
Seattle made life miserable on NFC West foes in 2025, going 4-2 against divisional opponents and winning the division with a 14-3 record.
The Seahawks also beat the Niners in the NFC Divisional Round and the Rams in the NFC Championship Game en route to defeating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX.
Smith-Njigba had his way with the 49ers and Rams during the regular season and playoffs, finishing with 45 receptions for 581 yards and three touchdowns against them in six games overall.
As a result, JSN wouldn't have much to prove against them inside the Octagon, but it sounds like he is up for a fight regardless.
