WWE Icon Stone Cold Wins 6-Hour Race, Check Out Trending Photos from Prospector 250

WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin scored a major victory this week in the world of off-road racing.

Kawasaki USA announced Thursday in a post on X that Austin won the Prospector 250, which is a nearly six-hour-long race that took place in the Nevada desert:

Austin's win occurred in the Stock Mod Pro Class division, and he utilized a Kawasaki Teryx4 H2 to get into the winner's circle.

The 61-year-old Austin is best known as one of the most popular and successful pro wrestlers of all time, holding the WWE Championship six times, the Intercontinental Championship twice and the WWE Tag Team Championships four times, and winning the Royal Rumble on three occasions during his illustrious career.

While wrestling was a longtime passion for Austin, he retired from in-ring competition in 2003 and eventually took on some other hobbies, including off-road racing.

Over the years, Austin has made many appearances at WWE events, making his way to the ring by driving an ATV.

In more recent years, Austin took his love for off-roading to the next level by racing competitively, and the Prospector 250 was his biggest triumph yet.

Four years ago, Austin came out of pro wrestling retirement to beat Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match that main evented Night 1 of WrestleMania 38.

He has not wrestled since then and there is no indication that he intends to have another match, but Austin did suggest during a recent appearance on Busted Open (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News) that he would be open to making an appearance for WWE if asked.
