Braves' Ronald Acuna Jr. Trolls Ozzie Albies with Venezuela Jersey, WBC Gold Medal in Photo, Video

Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies are teammates on the Atlanta Braves but were opponents at the recent World Baseball Classic, with Acuña representing Venezuela and Albies representing the Netherlands.

Not only did Venezuela beat the Netherlands in pool play, 6-2, but they also went on to win the entire WBC. And Acuña playfully made sure Albies didn't forget it:

The Braves initially had three players on the Team Netherlands roster in total, with Chadwick Tromp and Jurickson Profar originally scheduled to join Albies. Profar was ultimately barred from the tournament following his 162-game suspension testing positive test for performance-enhancing drugs a second time, but not before the trash talk was in full force during Atlanta's spring training.

"We're winning, it's three vs. one," Tromp told reporters on Feb. 28 regarding the smack talk. "It's kind of a mismatch for now, but [Acuña] holds his own."

He added that you could hear Acuña's voice "from a mile away."

And that was before Venezuela's triumph. One would imagine Acuña is having a very good time needling his teammates in that aftermath.
