What Waynes' Return Means for Vikings
Although Waynes was the No. 11 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft, the Vikings have done a nice job of not leaning too heavily on the rookie.
Terence Newman and Xavier Rhodes have served in starting roles, which has allowed Waynes and Captain Munnerlyn to contribute primarily as nickel and dime backs.
The former Michigan State star hasn't put up big numbers because of that with 13 tackles, three passes defended and no interceptions, but having him on the field due to his size (6'0", 190 lbs) and athleticism is still a plus for the Vikes.
Seattle isn't know as a pass-first team, but on the heels of Russell Wilson torching the Pittsburgh Steelers for 345 yards and five touchdowns last week, Waynes' possible return comes at an opportune time.
