Livvy Dunne Jokes She's 'Been Replaced' By Bobby Witt Jr. After Paul Skenes Posts Trending WBC Photo

Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Paul Skenes' admiration of Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr.'s defensive wizardry last week during Team USA's 5-3 win over Mexico in the World Baseball Classic got the attention of many people, including his own girlfriend, Livvy Dunne.

On Tuesday, Skenes posted a picture on Instagram of he and his teammates riding the bus to Miami's LoanDepot Park for their championship game against Venezuela, with the caption, "Me and some friends off to work." Witt was seen sitting right next to Skenes, and Dunne had a response.

"Let's face it I've been replaced by Bobby," Dunne joked. She also added: "Very cool thanks for sharing."

Skenes and Dunne have been dating since 2023, when they were athletes at LSU. Both have fared quite well in their post-collegiate lives. Of note, Skenes has dominated on the mound in two seasons, notably winning the National League Cy Young award in 2025. Dunne, a former gymnast and current influencer and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, has a recurring role in Fox's Baywatch reboot, which will air during the next television season.
