Jonathan Owens Shares Photo With Wife Simone Biles After Signing Colts Contract

The Indianapolis Colts' signing of safety Jonathan Owens is official, and he arrived in town on Tuesday to sign the contract while accompanied by his wife, Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history.

Owens is entering his ninth NFL season. He's played in 82 games with 35 starts over his first eight seasons for the Houston Texans (2019-2022), Green Bay Packers (2023) and Chicago Bears (2024-2025).

Per Pro Football Reference, Owens has played 2,401 snaps on defense and 990 snaps on special teams during his career. He spent most of his time last year on special teams for the Bears in 2025 and ended the year with 19 tackles (nine solo).

For his career, Owens has amassed 295 tackles (191 solo), 10 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two interceptions and two sacks.
