Aaron Judge Says Crowds at WBC are 'Bigger and Better Than the World Series' in Trending Video
New York Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge is no stranger to big moments, but he declared that nothing compares to the atmosphere at the World Baseball Classic.
While speaking to reporters after Team USA's 2-1 win over the Dominican Republic on Sunday to reach the title game, Judge declared that the fans in attendance throughout the WBC have significantly exceeded what he experienced in his lone World Series appearance in 2024.
"It's been bigger. The World Series I was in, the crowd here, the crowd we had when we played Mexico, it's bigger and better than the World Series," Judge said. "Like I said, the passion these fans have representing their country, representing their favorite players, there's nothing like it."

Judge and the Yankees came up short in the 2024 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, losing in five games. The three-time American League MVP will have the chance to add a different title to his mantle when Team USA faces the winner of Monday's game between Venezuela and Italy in the final on Tuesday.
"That's what you dream of as a kid. When I was playing in my backyard, playing wiffle ball, these are the moments you dream of, big spots, big situations," he said. "It gives me chills right now thinking about how special that was... It's just a blessing that we can go out there and do our thing."
