USA Olympic Star Chloe Kim Reveals She Retired Her Parents at Age 15 on Video

It didn't take United States Olympic star snowboarder Chloe Kim long to reap the financial benefits of her career.

In an interview on the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, Kim revealed that she was able to retire her parents when she was just 15 years old. She also explained that her father quit his job when she was seven to focus on her snowboarding career.

Kim competed in the Winter X Games for the first time at just 14 years old in 2014. The following year, she became the youngest gold medalist in Winter X Games history.

She made her Winter Olympics debut in 2018, becoming the youngest woman to win gold in halfpipe. Kim also won gold in halfpipe in 2022 before taking home silver in Milano Cortina last month.

Kim has already had an outstanding career, and she's still just 25 years old, so she likely has plenty more ahead of her.
