The 16-year-old Chloe Covell burst onto the scene at the 2022 X Games and has quickly established herself as a rising star. Having already claimed five gold medals, two sliver medals and one bronze medal, she's well on her way to an outstanding career.
It's no surprise to see the street specialist go first overall, and she'll look to lead New York to success.
Tom Schaar, who has been competing in the X Games since he was 12 years old, has won four gold medals, four silver medals and nine bronze medals. Schaar competes in five different disciplines, making him an extremely valuable asset in this new format for the X Games.
Nyjah Huston is one of the biggest names in this year's draft, so some might be surprised to see him fall outside of the top five. The legendary skater dropping to No. 8 clearly shows that teams favor youth, since Huston, a 15-time gold medalists, is 31. He's also dealt with various injuries over the years, including a fractured skull earlier this year.
Still, Huston is considered one of the best X Games competitors of all time, and he'll look to show that he has plenty left in the tank.
