Livvy Dunne Eyes Acting Career After Gymnastics Retirement, 'Something I've Been Passionate About'
Livvy Dunne could be pursuing acting following the end of her LSU gymnastics career.
Dunne, who graduated from LSU in December 2024, told People's Lexi Lane and Lindsay Kimble she has been taking acting lessons in a February interview.
"It's something I've been passionate about for quite some time," Dunne told Lane and Kimble. "I was interested in doing that at LSU, but sports are your top priority when you're a student-athlete at school; school and sports, but really gymnastics was my main focus."

Dunne continued, per Lane and Kimble: "I feel like collabing on creativity and seeing the end result, having something be great after, that's something that I love. And whether it's gymnastics or acting in a movie or a TV show, I just think watching all your hard work pay off, whether it's an individual thing or a group thing, I think it's so cool."
Dunne made her U.S. junior national team debut in 2017 and her NCAA debut in 2020. She competed on bars and floor events while helping LSU win the program's first national team title in 2024.
She returned to the reigning champion Tigers for fifth college season, although she was sidelined by a knee injury in March 2025 before announcing her retirement from gymnastics the following month.
Dunne has since worked as a model and a social media influencer, with a combined following of more than 13.2 million across Instagram and TikTok.
She is currently dating Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, who is playing for Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
