Alyssa Thompson Scores, USWNT Beats Colombia to Win Record 8th SheBelieves Cup

Alyssa Thompson's goal powered the United States women's national team to its eighth SheBelieves Cup title.

Thompson put home the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute to give the USWNT a 1-0 win over Colombia.

The win allowed the USWNT to reclaim the SheBelieves Cup, a year after losing out to Japan.

The Americans went 3-0 with wins over Canada, Colombia and Argentina in the 2026 edition of the tournament. The USWNT didn't concede a goal over 270 minutes of play.

Emma Hayes' side is now on a nine-game winning streak dating back to last October. The Americans are on an eight-game shutout streak as well.

The USWNT will be back in action in April for a trio of games against Japan.
