Alysa Liu, 'Harry Potter' Star Daniel Radcliffe Show Off Olympic Gold Medal in Trending Photo

Figure skating gold medalist Alysa Liu and actor Daniel Radcliffe met backstage at the taping of Monday's Today Show, sharing a hug, high five and a few viral pictures together.

"I wasn't going to ask," Radcliffe told Liu when she asked if he wanted to wear her medal, per People's Natasha Dye, adding "it feels like stolen valor" while holding the gold for their picture together.

Like many Americans rooting on Liu from the United States, Radcliffe found joy in her spirited performances throughout the Milano Cortina Games, including her golds in the team event and individual competition. Liu prioritized the joy of skating over putting pressure on herself to secure the best result, and in the process, she ended up achieving both.
