Paige Bueckers, Breeze Beat Angel Reese, Rose to Advance to Unrivaled Playoff Bracket Semifinals

Paige Bueckers and Breeze BC advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Unrivaled playoffs with a 69-50 win over Angel Reese and Rose BC on Saturday night.

Bueckers finished with a game-high 29 points while shooting 11-of-19 from the field and 4-of-5 from three-point territory. She recorded four rebounds and two assists as well.

Meanwhile, Reese scored 10 points on 5-of-10 shooting. She also pulled down seven rebounds and dished out three assists.

Saturday's contest didn't initially appear as if it would be so lopsided, as Rose held a 15-14 lead with just over two minutes remaining in the first quarter.

Breeze quickly responded with an 18-4 run, with Cameron Brink responsible for seven of the team's points over that stretch.

While Rose cut the deficit to eight points just before halftime, it would be the last time that the game contained a single-digit margin. Breeze led by as many as 21 points in the second half, cruising to the win.

Dominique Malonga ultimately sealed the victory with a free throw.

Malonga recorded an impressive double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in just over 15 minutes on the floor. Brink also finished with nine points on 4-of-5 shooting.

Rose struggled offensively throughout the contest, shooting just 36.2 percent from the field and 25.0 percent from behind the arc as a team. Reese's squad racked up 12 assists, but also committed nine turnovers.

Breeze is set to face Mist BC in a semifinal matchup on Monday.
