Diego Pavia Skips 40-Yard Dash at NFL Combine After Making Bet with Johnny Manziel
Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia made a pair of $1,000 bets with former NFL quarterback and 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel that he would finish with faster times in the 40-yard dash and the shuttle run during an appearance on the ex-Texas A&M star's Glory Daze podcast.
It appears that Pavia has some time to get ready for those tests.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Quarterbacks, including Pavia, took centerstage for the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Saturday. However, Pavia told reporters that he is only throwing at Lucas Oil Stadium. He'll save other athletic testing, including timed tests, for Vanderbilt's pro day on March 18.
Manziel is serving as a mentor for Pavia, who finished as second in the Heisman Trophy race this season. He initially offered the 40-yard dash bet to Pavia, who then countered with a shuttle run bet. It was then decided both bets would go down.
We'll see how those tests go soon enough. Pavia's times to beat are 4.68 seconds for the 40 and 4.03 seconds for the shuttle.
