Who Is WWE's Mystery Attacker? Identity Revealed After Logan Paul Unmasked Man on SmackDown

The person revealed as the mystery attacker during the main event of Friday's WWE SmackDown between Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu is an independent wrestler with ties to Seth Rollins.

According to Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News, the man underneath the mask was Donovan Izzolena, who goes by the wrestling name Don Furio. He trained at Rollins' Black & Brave Wrestling Academy, and he has also trained under Cody Rhodes and AEW's QT Marshall.

The mystery attacker storyline started at Survivor Series when a masked person helped The Vision win WarGames. The attacker was later revealed to be Austin Theory, but the angle didn't end there.

At Royal Rumble, another masked person jumped Bron Breakker during his entrance, which resulted in him quickly getting eliminated by Bron Breakker.

In the weeks since then, the mystery attacker has interfered in many matches involving Vision members, using Rollins' signature Stomp.

On SmackDown, the masked man was thwarted and unmasked by Paul, leading to a ton of speculation regarding why Izzolena was chosen to portray the role.

Rollins has been out of action since October due to a shoulder injury suffered during his win over Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Two days later on Raw, Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked him, which landed him on the shelf and ended his time with The Vision.

From a storyline standpoint, it would make sense for Rollins to choose someone close to him to disrupt The Vision until he is ready to return and face them himself.

It is unclear if Izzolena's true identity will be mentioned or made part of the storyline by WWE, but if it is, it would be another piece of evidence pointing toward Rollins being responsible.

Ultimately, Rollins is the most logical mastermind to be behind the attacks because of what Breakker, Reed and Paul Heyman did to him, and it has always felt like the mystery attacker storyline was meant to bridge the gap from the present until he is healthy and cleared to wrestle.
