UFC president and CEO Dana White also revealed that he'll announce the fights for the upcoming White House event "this week."

White has already expressed his support for Pereira to switch divisions.

"He's one of those guys that always steps up and does whatever we need him to," White said on Feb. 21, via Kyle Dimond of Bloody Elbow. "Whatever that guy wants to do, we would work with him."

Pereira first captured the light heavyweight championship by defeating Prochazka at UFC 295. He lost the title with a defeat at the hands of Magomed Ankalaev in May 2025, but won it back by taking down Ankalaev in the first round at UFC 320.

If Pereira officially moves to heavyweight, he'll attempt to become the UFC's first three-division champion.

As for Prochazka, he was formerly the light heavyweight champion before he was forced to vacate the title due to an injury in 2022. He owns a 32-5-1 record and has won consecutive fights against Khalil Rountree Jr. and Jamahal Hill.

Meanwhile, Ulberg will enter the matchup with Prochazka boasting a 14-1-0 record. He's won nine consecutive fights since suffering a defeat during his UFC debut in 2021.

UFC 327 will take place on April 21.
