Angel Reese Scores 17 as Rose Lose to Kelsey Plum, Phantom in Unrivaled, Full Stats and Highlights

Rose BC wasn't able to end the Unrivaled regular season on a high note despite a strong performance from Angel Reese, falling to Phantom BC by the final score of 72-68 on Friday night.

With Rose facing a 70-68 deficit, Kelsey Plum buried a game-winning jumper as Phantom surpassed the target score of 71.

Reese wrapped up a strong all-around performance in the defeat, scoring a team-high 17 points to go along with eight rebounds, two assists and one block. She shot 6-of-12 from the field and connected on her only three-point attempt of the contest.

As for Plum, she scored a game-high 35 points on 14-of-27 shooting. The four-time WNBA All-Star also grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists while picking up three steals.

Phantom held a 49-35 lead in the third quarter of Friday's contest, but Rose quickly responded with a 15-3 run to stay within striking distance.

Rose went on to cut the deficit to one point multiple times, but couldn't take the lead before Plum secured the victory for her squad.

Tiffany Hayes helped out her Phantom teammate with 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting, while Kiki Iriafen recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and pulling down 14 rebounds.

While Rose fell to 6-8 with the loss, Reese's team already clinched a playoff spot prior to Friday's action.
