Top Elimination Chamber Matches to Watch

Men's Elimination Chamber Match

A unique mix of past champions and rising stars looking to break through with a signature win will be at odds inside the men's Elimination Chamber match on Saturday.

Cody Rhodes is the odds-on favorite to win given his ongoing rivalry with WWE champion Drew McIntyre, but it isn't necessarily a guarantee.

Randy Orton was attacked by McIntyre and cost a match against Aleister Black last week, so it isn't outside the realm of possibility that The Viper could prevail in Chicago.

The other four combatants are longer shots, but a case can be made for all of them for why a victory would be highly compelling.

Knight is still in search of his first world title in WWE, and winning the Chamber would be a big step toward it, while Uso is trying to return to the top of the mountain for the first time since losing the world heavyweight title.

Williams and Evans are both new to the main roster, and either of them vying for the WWE Championship would feel both fresh and hugely surprising.

Regardless of who comes out on top, the pieces are in place for a highly entertaining Chamber match from an in-ring perspective in the likely main event of the night.

Women's Elimination Chamber Match

While Rhodes feels like the clear favorite to win the men's Elimination Chamber match, things aren't as cut and dry in the women's Chamber.

The winner will go on to challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania, but since she doesn't necessarily have an ongoing rivalry in place, any number of entrants could potentially win.

Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss stand out as the likeliest candidates since all three are popular babyfaces who could go up against the villainous Cargill.

Stratton is the one who dropped the title to Cargill in the first place, so a win would allow her to seek revenge on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Meanwhile, both Ripley and Bliss are in tag teams, but either of them having to simultaneously focus on going for singles gold could add an interesting dynamic to their teams.

Asuka, Rodriguez and James feel less likely to win as heels, but all of them bring an important aspect to the match.

Raquel brings the power needed for big spots, Asuka brings the hard-hitting physicality and James brings the underdog flavor since the Chamber will undoubtedly be the biggest match of her career thus far.

CM Punk vs. Finn Balor

Despite the obvious result, Punk's match against Balor may be the most highly anticipated bout on the Elimination Chamber card among fans who will be in attendance.

Punk wrestling in his hometown is always an event, and there is little doubt that he and Balor have all the tools needed to deliver a spectacular performance.

With Punk vs. Roman Reigns already locked in for WrestleMania 42, there is almost no chance of Punk losing at Elimination Chamber, barring the unlikely scenario of making the WrestleMania match a Triple Threat with Balor involved.

Despite that, the rivalry between Punk and Balor has been an entertaining one thus far, and they already had one excellent title match against each other on the Jan. 19 episode of Raw.

While they showed mutual respect for each other after that match, it wasn't long before Balor's true colors were on full display, as he ruined a match between Punk and AJ Styles by attacking Punk.

Punk will be out for revenge at Elimination Chamber, and with thousands of fans in Chicago firmly behind him, it should make for a must-see atmosphere.
