Eagles' Landon Dickerson Hints at 2026 Return with Cryptic IG Post amid Retirement Speculation
Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Landon Dickerson might be coming back for the 2026 season after all.
He posted an image of himself running out of the tunnel with a caption of two eagle emojis on his Instagram account Wednesday, which NFL Network's Mike Garafolo suggested means he appears to be coming back to the NFC East team:
This isn't that surprising considering NFL insider Derrick Gunn previously reported Dickerson was planning on coming back.
Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer also reported "indications" were he would not retire ahead of the 2026 campaign.
While Dickerson is just 27 years old, he dealt with a number of injuries during the 2025 season. He underwent knee surgery in training camp and then suffered back and ankle injuries during the campaign while still managing to appear in 15 games.
Dickerson saw his streak of consecutive Pro Bowls end at three, but he was still a key part of the Eagles' offensive front and a leader for the unit.
This is another important development for that group after reports indicated Lane Johnson will also come back for the 2026 season after he missed seven games last season.
If the offensive line can remain healthier next season, perhaps the offensive can play with a bit more consistency after failing to defend the Super Bowl crown in 2025.
