Tiger Woods' Son Charlie Celebrates Florida High School Golf Title with Ring Ceremony in Videos
Charlie Woods' Benjamin School won Florida's Class 1A state championship in November. On Wednesday, the team was honored in a ring ceremony, with Tiger Woods in attendance to celebrate his son's achievement.
The younger Woods, now a Florida State commit, was instrumental in the team's championship. He shot two under during the two-day championship tournament (tied for fourth overall) and topped his team with a 4-under 68 during the final round, tied for the best score overall the final day.
"Charlie came up to on 14 today and he goes, 'Coach, how are your nerves holding up?' I could tell he was focused. He was locked in," his coach, Toby Harbeck, told reporters at the time. "I think he was locked in from the start of today, and he's got so much talent. Dad's here. A couple of colleges are here to watch him. It's great."
It marked the second state championship for Woods, who also claimed those honors with Benjamin in 2023 as a freshman. The school finished as state runner-up in 2024.
