Commanders, Jaguars to Host NFL Regular-Season Games in London During 2026 Schedule, Opponents TBD
Add the Washington Commanders and Jacksonville Jaguars to the list of NFL teams playing overseas during the 2026 regular season.
The Commanders and Jaguars announced on Wednesday they will be the designated home teams for London games, with Jacksonville set to play in England twice.
As part of the NFL's nine-game international schedule next season, the home teams for seven of the games have now been revealed.
The Commanders and Jaguars join the Los Angeles Rams (Melbourne), San Francisco 49ers (Mexico City), Dallas Cowboys (Rio de Janeiro), Detroit Lions (Munich) as the designated hosts.
Of the nine games, the only confirmed matchup is the Melbourne game between the 49ers and Rams. The Niners and Jaguars are the only teams at this point known to be playing multiple games outside of the United States.
The Commanders' game in London will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Jaguars will split their games with one at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the other at Wembley Stadium.
Wembley has become the unofficial second home for the Jaguars. They have played 11 games in the stadium dating back to 2013, including one in each of the past three seasons.
Jacksonville has played two games in London every year since 2023. The Commanders will be playing an international game for the second consecutive year. They lost to the Miami Dolphins in overtime in Madrid last season.
The Commanders haven't played in London since 2016 when their game against the Cincinnati Bengals ended in a 27-27 tie.
Since the Commanders and Jaguars will be the designated home teams for these games, their opponents will be pulled from their home schedule. Washington's list of home games in 2026 includes matchups against the NFC East teams (Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants), Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Bengals and Atlanta Falcons.
Jacksonville has home games against the AFC South (Colts, Texans, Tennessee Titans), Eagles, Commanders, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots.
Opponents and dates for the London games will likely be released in the spring along with the full 2026 regular-season schedule for all 32 teams.
