The Good, Bad and Ugly of WWE 2K26's Ratings Reveal

Erik BeastonFeb 25, 2026

WWE and 2K have teamed up to release the latest edition of hit video game WWE 2K26 on March 13, but ratings for some of the top Superstars on the roster may surprise fans.

As always, some ratings feel spot-on, others seem off base, and a few will leave wrestling fans scratching their heads.

While we do not yet know who the highest-rated Superstars are, with Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley's ratings not yet released, find out who WWE and 2K Games got right and wrong with this early look at the ratings, as revealed by SmackDown Hotel.

The Good

Monday Night RAW

The Superstars whose ratings are just right:

  • Bron Breakker (90)
  • Asuka (91)
  • Naomi (92)
  • Drew McIntyre (93)
  • Iyo Sky (93)
  • CM Punk (94)
  • Becky Lynch (94)

  • Bron Breakker had the most significant year of his career, aligning with Paul Heyman and joining The Vision after WrestleMania 42, then mixing it up with the top stars in WWE, including CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Jey Uso.

There is an argument for The Badass to be rated higher, but 90 feels right for a guy just entering the main event scene.

After a year in which she finally realized her potential in WWE, Naomi achieved her highest WWE video game rating yet. That is more than appropriate for someone who won Money in the Bank, then successfully cashed in at Evolution in one of the most memorable and shocking moments of 2025.

Drew McIntyre is one of the highest-rated men in the game, a deserved honor for The Scottish Warrior following another strong year. While he had yet to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship by the time the game was in development, he was in the hunt all year. Do not be surprised if he rates even higher next year, especially coming off of what should be a WrestleMania 42 main event.

CM Punk captured the World Heavyweight Championship and enjoyed his best year since 2013, earning the cover-athlete spot and one of the game's top ratings. He refers to himself as The Best in the World, but that honor may belong to Iyo Sky, who is appropriately rated (93) and probably could have been ranked a bit higher.

Becky Lynch is the greatest women's Superstar of all time (B/R says so) and again reinvented herself for her latest heel run. She delivered some of her best in-ring work since her feud with Bianca Belair in 2022, all while elevating the likes of Maxxine Dupri and Lyra Valkyria.

The Superstars whose ratings are all wrong are:

  • Penta (84)
  • Chelsea Green (85)
  • AJ Styles (88)
  • Jade Cargill (88)
  • Bayley (89)
  • Brock Lesnar (94)

  • Since last year's WWE 2K25 release, Chelsea Green has been the women's United States champion twice. She has been a regular presence on WWE TV throughout and become one of the more beloved performers on the roster, thanks to her willingness to take anything given to her creatively and make the best of it.

She may not be a world-beater or WrestleMania headliner yet, but she had considerable success and earned a rating closer to Jade Cargill's than the relatively unimpressive mid-80s she was assigned here.

Speaking of the WWE women's champion, Cargill has been beaten on television minimally, typically dominates the competition, and is the top competitor in the SmackDown women's division. Could the game developers and ratings assigners not have spared a 90 rating for one of the faces of women's wrestling in WWE right now?

The disrespect of Bayley continues with another subpar rating for one of the most influential and important women's wrestlers ever.

AJ Styles is one of the most celebrated Superstars in the company and will enter the Hall of Fame in 2026, but he was only worth an 88 rating, as opposed to a lower-end 90s, a la Randy Orton (92)?

Brock Lesnar is still rated like some streak-ending, world-smashing badass, despite his last appearance before his return this summer being a loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in 2023?

    The Ugly

The Superstar ratings that have you asking, "what on earth?":

  • Nick Aldis '23 (85)
  • Adam Pearce '12 (85)
  • Mankind (86)
  • "Macho Man" Randy Savage (89)

  • WWE and 2K continue to underrate "Macho Man" Randy Savage with final scores under 90. One of the most decorated and influential stars of all time, the lack of respect shown to him and his run with the company by not recognizing him as one of the highest-rated legends in the game remains astonishing for all the wrong reasons.

Ditto Mankind, a three-time WWE champion and Mick Foley's greatest alter ego. One of the most popular, beloved stars during the celebrated Attitude Era, Mankind competed against and defeated every major Superstar of his generation, including The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and The Undertaker.

To rank him outside of the elite in the 90s is a massive misstep that does not reflect his importance to the era celebrated via special edition in this year's game.

Legendary competitors that the 2023 version of Nick Aldis rates alongside or higher than in this year's game include Eddie Guerrero (1997 version; 76), Bubba Ray (85) and D'Von Dudley (84), Faarooq (85), Molly Holly (83), Mr. Perfect (84), and Rick Rude (84).

Yes, the SmackDown general manager, who has never wrestled a match in WWE, rates similarly or higher than all of them, as does his Raw counterpart, Adam Pearce.
