Doric SamFeb 23, 2026

WWE 2K26 will feature a new chapter of "The Island" mode, and former WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes revealed the new details in a gameplay trailer that dropped on Monday.

In WWE 2K25, players created their own characters to challenge Roman Reigns for control of the Island of Relevancy. Reigns' absence from the Island this year has opened the door for three new factions to try to take over.

Rhodes will lead the Order of Tradition, while Rhea Ripley leads the Order of Shadows and CM Punk leads the Order of Anarchy. According to a release, these factions "now compete to shape the future of The Island, each with its own philosophy, leadership and vision."

"And choose wisely – while each Order member is able to play every main path story, your allegiance will inform the specific viewpoint you have on events as they unfold," the release added. "Progression is more non-linear than before, allowing players to dive into story missions in the manner they choose."

Gamers will also have more customization features available as they create their characters for the open-world mode. There will also be "Towers" to play filled with challenges that lead to rewards.

WWE 2K26 is set to be released on March 13, with early access available on March 6, so fans will surely be excited when they get to test out the new features when the game drops next month.
