Angel Reese, Rose Beat Laces to Clinch 2026 Unrivaled Playoff Bracket Spot, Chelsea Gray Ties Record
Star guard Chelsea Gray had a special night as she helped Rose BC clinch a spot in the 2026 Unrivaled playoffs.
Gray dropped 38 points and tied an Unrivaled record with 10 three-pointers to lead Rose past Laces 70-66 on Sunday. Angel Reese chipped in nine points, 15 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal off the bench in her second Unrivaled appearance of the season.
Earlier in the night, Paige Bueckers and Cameron Brink's Breeze clinched a playoff spot as well.
Reese reacted to Sunday's win on social media:
Gray shot 10-of-14 from beyond the arc and added seven rebounds, four assists and a block in the victory. In addition to her hot shooting from three-point range, she also nailed the game-winning jumper to reach the target score of 70.
The Laces' starting trio of Brittney Sykes, Alyssa Thomas and Jackie Young did their best to keep up with Gray, but she wouldn't be denied. Sykes led the Laces with 24 points, while Young added 17 points and Thomas chipped in 12 points.
After improving to 6-7, Rose BC is the fifth team to clinch a spot in the playoffs this season. Laces fell to 9-4 but already had a spot in the postseason entering Sunday's game.
Rose BC will close out the regular season on Friday against Phantom BC, which leads the league with a 10-3 record.
