Olympic Freestyle Skiing 2026 Results, Mixed Team Aerials Medal Winners

The trio of Kaila Kuhn, Connor Curran and Christopher Lillis dominated the field to lift Team USA to a gold medal at the 2026 Olympics in the mixed aerials freestyle skiing event.

Their final score of 325.35 was easily the best in the final, nearly 30 points better than Switzerland in second place. China took home the bronze with a third-place finish.

The U.S. and China started the day as the likely favorites to win gold. Both countries lived up to that billing in the opening round, as they were the only teams to post a score over 300 to advance to the second final.

Team USA set the pace out of the gate with an incredible 351.23 score. Lillis had the highest individual score for the U.S. with a 123.98 on his back double full-full-full trick.

Lillis landed the jump again the final round after strong runs by Kuhn and Curran to secure the Americans a gold for the second consecutive Olympics.

Noé Roth had the two highest individual scores of anyone in the field to push Switzerland into the No. 2 spot. He had a 127.50 in the first round, followed by an even better 129.54 in the second final.

The Swiss hopes for gold were in trouble after Lina Kozomara was unable to successfully land her back lay-full jump, pushing her score down to 44.37. Roth and Pirmin Werner made up for with the two best individual scores in the final round to get their score up to 296.91.

China was in trouble after Wang Xindi crashed on his final run. Li Tianma tried to pull off a back double full-double full-full to make up the difference, but he couldn't execute the landing to pull it off.

This marks the first Olympic medal in any of the aerials events at the 2026 Winter Games for the Americans. Lillis has now won back-to-back Olympic gold medals in this event. Kuhn and Curran are going home with a medal in their first-ever appearance at the Olympics.
