WWE has reportedly reached out to global music sensation Bad Bunny about returning to the company, but it isn't yet known when or if it might happen.

According to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), WWE has been in contact with Bad Bunny's representatives, specifically about making an appearance at WrestleMania 42.

The talks have reportedly been positive, and WWE would "absolutely" welcome Bad Bunny back into the fold for WrestleMania, even if he doesn't necessarily wrestle a match on that show.

One match that fans have long speculated about happening is a clash between Bad Bunny and Logan Paul, both of whom parlayed their celebrity status into successful ventures in WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Carrier), there is no Bad Bunny vs. Paul match currently planned by WWE and it isn't likely to happen in the near future, but "the expectation is that it will happen some day."

Speaking recently on his Impaulsive podcast (h/t Russell Steinberg of Us Weekly), Paul admitted that he would like to have a match against Bad Bunny eventually, saying, "There have been talks about maybe us wrestling. It's been floated around. I've been candid about the fact that I'd love to do it. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that."

Bad Bunny is coming off a critically acclaimed performance in the Super Bowl LX halftime show, and there is little doubt that WWE would love to capitalize on his momentum and popularity.

The Puerto Rican megastar already has one WrestleMania match under his belt, making his in-ring debut in a tag team bout at 37.

At Backlash in Puerto Rico in 2023, Bad Bunny beat Damian Priest in a highly praised street fight, marking the first one-on-one match of Bad Bunny's career.

Considering how well he performed, there is understandably plenty of interest in Bad Bunny stepping inside the squared circle again in the future.

Injury Updates on Rollins and Breakker

Both Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are currently out of action due to injury, but they are reportedly doing all they can to get back in action ahead of a potential match between each other.

According to Meltzer (h/t Carrier), Rollins and Breakker are "rehabbing their asses off" in hopes of returning "as soon as they can."

Rollins was the first of the two to get injured, as he hurt his shoulder during a win over Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel in October. Rollins was written off WWE programming on the ensuing episode of Raw when Breakker and Bronson Reed shockingly attacked him, thus taking him out of The Vision.

During an appearance on Something's Burning with Bert Kreischer (h/t Carrier) in November, Rollins provided some insight into his potential return timeline, saying, "It'll probably be gradual, I don't even really know. My guess is about eight to 12 weeks of, 'Okay, now I have to stop eating like an a-----e.' Probably 12 weeks. Plus, we'll be moving right into WrestleMania season. ... So I'm hoping like around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, 'Okay, lock in. No more BS.' Probably after the Super Bowl and stuff, I would say. Like give myself a month before I come back-ish. Maybe—I don't even know. You know, they say six months, so this could be April."

Rollins' response offered hope that he could be back in time for WrestleMania to face Breakker, but Bron recently ran into some injury issues of his own.

Per PWInsider.com (h/t Carrier), Breakker underwent surgery to repair a hernia earlier this month. It was reportedly an existing issue that was made worse by a spot that saw him flip over the announce table.

Conflicting reports have since emerged regarding his return timetable. Meltzer (h/t Wrestle Ops) reported that Breakker could be out anywhere between three and six months, which would keep him out of WrestleMania.

However, Fightful Select (h/t Carrier) reported that WWE officials are "optimistic" Breakker will be able to make it back in time for WrestleMania.

It isn't clear how realistic it is for both Rollins and Breakker to be back for WrestleMania 42 on April 18 and 19, but every indication is that they are doing all they can to keep their expected match on the books for the Showcase of the Immortals.

Info on Jericho's Reported AEW Contract Freeze

Chris Jericho is reportedly still under contract with AEW due to the company exercising its right to freeze his deal.

In response to a report by Fightful Select (h/t Carrier) about Jericho's contract being frozen, Meltzer (h/t Carrier) said he is "95 percent sure" it is true.

Meltzer noted that he is usually told if that type of information is untrue, and since he has not been told that, he is inclined to believe that Jericho's AEW contract has indeed been frozen.

It is typical for major wrestling companies to include language in talent contracts that allows them to freeze a contract due to time missed because of injuries or other reasons.

Jericho has not wrestled a match for AEW since Dynasty in April 2025, meaning he has been off AEW programming for 10 months.

It isn't known if an injury contributed to the decision to take time off, or if it was a decision made by Jericho, AEW or both for him to step away and not be utilized.

Either way, every indication is that Jericho still has a valid AEW contract, as evidenced by the fact that he is still listed on AEW's roster page.

There has been heavy speculation that a Jericho return to WWE could be in the works, with some believing Jericho could emerge from a crate that is being advertised to be opened at Elimination Chamber on Feb. 28.

However, Fightful noted that it is unlikely due to Jericho's contract status, so it remains uncertain when or if Jericho will be back in WWE.

For now, he appears to be in a holding pattern as a wrestler under contract with AEW, while not being featured on AEW TV.
