Kendrick Law NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Detroit Lions WR

Damian ParsonApr 16, 2026

The Detroit Lions selected Kentucky WR Kendrick Law with the No. 168 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Kendrick Law is a tough run-after-catch weapon with explosive traits, but lacks production to be considered an impact prospect.

Initially, he enrolled at Alabama as a former 4-star recruit in the 2022 class. His presence was felt more on special teams for the Crimson Tide than as a wide receiver. After three seasons, he transferred to Kentucky, where he had his best receiving season.

Law has a well-proportioned and compact frame suited for a gadget receiver role, and his collegiate usage is evidence. Landing spot will be paramount for Law to carve out a role worthy of a spot on the 53-man roster. Projects as a practice squad and developmental prospect.
