Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest on Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale
Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has played down rumours surrounding Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, insisting they will all be staying put at the Bernabeu.
Kroos has been linked with a switch away from the Bernabeu recently despite only joining Los Blancos last summer.
French newspaper Le Parisien (h/t Tom Conn of Inside Spanish Football) named the German international as a potential, but unlikely, replacement for want-away Thiago Motta in Paris Saint-Germain's central midfield.

Benitez has now quashed any such rumours, indicating that Kroos has a big role to play at Real in the upcoming season, per Marca: "Kroos is going to be important for us because he's a quality player."
Similarly, the Spanish manager has addressed rumours surrounding the potential departures of Benzema and Bale from Madrid.
Bale has reportedly been the subject of two huge £100 million bids from Manchester United this summer, per Antony Kastrinakis in the Sun.
Meanwhile, Benzema's long-term link with Arsenal has not disappeared, per James Olley in the Evening Standard.
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has long claimed that Real will not sell Bale this summer:
And Benitez has now validated that claim, while also making assurances that Benzema is going nowhere, per Marca:
"Our forward players have freedom to roam and we want to take full advantage of their movement. [Bale] knows what he has to do. The team have to improve their physical fitness and that also means improving their accuracy in front of goal. Just as I said with regards to Karim [Benzema], there is a lot of speculation, but that doesn't bother me, I just want to focus. They're all staying put.
"
Along with Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema make up one of the most devastating attacking trios in world football.
The speculation surrounding their potential departures from the Bernabeu always seemed somewhat ludicrous given the quality of both the Frenchman and the Welshman.
However, there could yet be a departure from Real during an, as yet, slightly lacklustre transfer window for the La Liga giants, per Bleacher Report's Andy Brassell:
Roma have reportedly contacted Real over a possible loan deal for left-back Fabio Coentrao with an option to buy, per David Amoyal, on behalf of Gianluca Di Marzio.
Los Blancos want to sell the Portuguese outright, as he has become a peripheral figure at the Bernabeu, starting only five La Liga games last season, per WhoScored.com.
His departure would be no great loss for Real with first-choice Marcelo a reliable performer. But 27-year-old Coentrao could be a decent addition at Roma as he still has plenty to offer both defensively and going forward.
