Canada and Switzerland completed the women's hockey semifinal bracket at the 2026 Winter Olympics on Saturday.
Canada produced its normally dominant type of performance against Germany. Five different players scored in the quarterfinal rout.
Switzerland used some incredible defense to shut out Finland in the last of the four quarterfinals in Milan.
Canada and Switzerland will play at 3:15 p.m. ET on Monday. Team USA takes on Sweden at 10:40 a.m. ET in the first semifinal.

Canada expectedly won with ease over Germany.
Perhaps the most important moment of the game occurred late in the third period when Marie-Philip Poulin scored on the power play.
Poulin, who missed the group-stage battle with the United States due to an injury, had the goal and two shots on target in just over 12 minutes of ice time on Saturday.
Brianne Jenner, Claire Thompson, Sarah Fillier and Blayre Turnbull all contributed a goal each in the winning effort.
Canada is expected to produce a similar type of result in Monday's semifinals with eyes on yet another gold-medal game clash with Team USA.
Switzerland 1, Finland 0
2 of 2
Switzerland booked a semifinal meeting with Canada thanks to a strong defensive effort against Finland.
Swiss goalie Andrea Braendli made 40 saves to keep Finland off the score sheet.
Braendli is going to need a similar effort on Monday just to keep the Swiss within striking distance of the Canadians.
Alina Muller scored the only goal of the contest in the first period. Muller's goal came on one of Switzerland's 14 shots on net.
The bronze medal will most likely be Switzerland's goal now that it is in the semifinals. A loss to Canada is expected at this stage given the Canadian dominance at the Olympic level.
