Olympic Snowboarding Halfpipe 2026 Live Stream Schedule for Men's Final
The men's snowboard halfpipe competition is typically one of the most exciting events of the Winter Olympics.
That should be the case again on Friday with a handful of potential gold medal winners.
Australia's Scotty James was the top qualifier, but he's one of five or six riders you could make a legitimate case for to win gold.
Three Americans qualified for the 12-man final. Alessandro Barbieri had the best placement of the trio in fourth.

Scotty James is looking to improve on his medal placement for the second straight Olympics.
The Australian was a bronze medalist in 2018 and a silver medalist in 2022. His quest for gold began with the top score in qualifying.
The Japanese trio of Yuto Totsuka, Ryusei Yamada and Ruka Hirano, all of whom are medal threats, qualified within the top five.
Alessandro Barbieri is the top American medal contender after his fourth-place qualifying run. Chase Josey and Jake Pates were the last two snowboarders into the 12-man final field.
The only other finalist with more Olympic experience than James is Japan's Ayumu Hirano.
Hirano is the reigning gold medalist in the event. He also took back-to-back silvers in 2014 and 2018. He can't be completely counted out of the medal race either. He won the first halfpipe event on the FIS World Cup circuit this season.
Totsuka is the leader in the World Cup standings thanks to one victory and a pair of second-place finishes.
The stacked field should create an incredible environment for the final.
Almost half the finalists have a realistic shot at gold given their history and form this season.
James and Hirano have the most Olympic experience, but do not be surprised if one of Totsuka, Yamada and Ruka Hirano claim gold for Japan. After all, the odds are high that Japan will at least claim one medal.
