Travis Kelce Highlights, Photos, Top Fan Reaction to 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Round 1
Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce took his talents to the golf course on Thursday for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Kelce was paired with Keith Mitchell, who made his PGA Tour debut in 2017. The three-time Super Bowl champion shot a 5-under 67 through 18 holes at Spyglass Hill GC.
While Kelce's finish was impressive, his day began awkwardly when he had a false start on the first tee:
Kelce also reunited with former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith, who was paired with Mackenzie Hughes and shot 7-under 65.
In addition to Kelce and Smith being on the course, Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young and Basketball Hall of Famer Pau Gasol were the other former athletes in the pro-am tournament.
Kelce and the Chiefs missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be with the team when it tries to bounce back in 2026. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week that the 36-year-old "has not made a firm decision on his future," but sources told Rapoport he "has been in touch with his team about a potential return and Kansas City wants him back." The two sides reportedly will reconvene to finalize a plan going forward.
For now, Kelce will be focused on continuing his success on the green at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am following his impressive first round.
