Mike Vrabel's Message to Patriots' Players After NFL Super Bowl 60 Loss Emerges on Mic'd Up Video

Paul KasabianFeb 11, 2026

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel greeted all of his players before they entered the locker room after their 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX last Sunday.

"We got to be pissed together, OK?" Vrabel said in part. "You know what I mean? 307 days. That's all it was. We got a lot more days ahead of us. OK, you hear me? Hey, 307 days. That's all we got. We just played 307 days. We got a lot more football left in our program."

The 307 days is in reference to April 7, 2025, when the Patriots began their 2025 offseason program.

The Patriots enjoyed an incredible season in Vrabel's first year at the helm, going 14-3 and winning the AFC after finishing 4-13 the season before.

The Pats welcomed ton of new faces over the offseason. Six defensive starters in the Super Bowl weren't on the team last year, and that didn't even include the team's sack leader, Harold Landry, who was a reserve. Six offensive starters weren't either, and that didn't include the team's top pass-catcher, wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who still played 45 snaps.

They all gelled together under Vrabel, the Associated Press Coach of the Year.

Last Sunday represented a brutal loss, but hope remains high in New England, especially with AP NFL MVP finalist Drake Maye at QB surrounded by a host of talents on both sides of the ball.
