Drake Maye's Wife Ann Michael Reflects on Patriots Super Bowl Loss in Photo, 'Only the Beginning!!'

Julia StumbaughFeb 11, 2026

Ann Michael Maye, wife of New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, reflected on her husband's Super Bowl LX loss to the Seattle Seahawks in a Wednesday post on Instagram.

"Not how we wanted it to end but still thanking God for this incredible season," Maye wrote. "We are blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people, who made this season what it was. This is only the beginning!!"

After a 4-13 season to his first season with the Patriots, Maye led his team to a 14-3 finish and a Super Bowl appearance in his second NFL campaign.

His playoff run ended last Sunday with a 29-13 loss to the Seahawks at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

When asked Sunday evening what his offseason would look like, Maye answered, "I got a beautiful wife, so I look forward to spending my offseason with her."

Maybe continued, "That's gonna be the highlight of my offseason, I can tell you that."

Led by incoming second-year head coach Mike Vrabel and bolstered by a relatively young roster starring multiple key players on relatively inexpensive rookie contracts, the Patriots will now look to build on Maye's breakout season next fall.
