NFL Legend Randy Moss Granted 'You Got Moss'd Trademark for Clothing, Apparel
NFL icon Randy Moss has officially trademarked his catchphrase for use on clothing and apparel.
Heitner Legal, the firm that first filed Moss' trademark application in July 2024, shared confirmation Tuesday of the registered trademark for "You Got Moss'd."
According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the trademark applies to t-shirts, hats, hoodies, sweatpants, sweatshirts, fishing shirts and vests, long-sleeved shirts, outdoor gloves and shoes.
Moss established himself as one of the best wide receivers in NFL history over 14 seasons, including eight with the Minnesota Vikings.
He retired after the 2012 season and was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
He joined ESPN as an NFL analyst in 2016 and regularly featured receivers making catches over defenders in his segment "You Got Mossed" during the network's Sunday NFL Countdown.
Moss returned to ESPN for the 2025 season after stepping away in 2024 after being diagnosed with bile duct cancer.
