NFL Super Bowl 61 Logo Revealed in Photo, Game to be Held at LA Rams and Chargers' SoFi Stadium

Adam WellsFeb 9, 2026

With Super Bowl 61 set to take place in Los Angeles, the NFL has revealed the logo for next year's big game.

The logo features 61 in Roman numerals (LXI) with ocean waves embedded inside, along with the Lombardi Trophy front and center.

The general outline of the logo is similar to what the league used for Super Bowl 60. Since that game took place at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area, the Golden Gate Bridge was featured prominently in the design.

Given the lack of a strong and specific color design in the Super Bowl 61 logo, the conspiracy theories about the NFL dictating the matchup to match the color scheme should go away for at least a year.

There also aren't many water-based nicknames or logos in the NFL. The closest you could get is that Dolphins live in water, so if you're looking for an extreme dark horse to reach the Super Bowl, that could be the answer if new head coach Jeff Hafley can orchestrate one of the most incredible one-year turnarounds in NFL history.

Super Bowl 61 will be played at SoFi Stadium on Feb. 14, 2027. It will mark the latest end date to an NFL season, surpassing the current record held by the 2021 season that ended on Feb. 13, 2022.
