Women's Freestyle Skiing Results, Olympics 2026 Slopestyle Medal Winners and Final Scores
Switzerland's Mathilde Gremaud is a gold medalist in women's slopestyle for the second time after narrowly edging out China's Eileen Gu on Monday at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
This is Gremaud's third successive podium finish after earning silver in 2018 and then winning the event in 2022.

Women's Slopestyle Medal Winners
- Gold: Mathilde Gremaud (Switzerland), 86.96
- Silver: Eileen Gu (China), 86.58
- Bronze: Megan Oldham (Canada), 76.46
Coming out of the first run, the event was shaping up to be a two-horse race between Gu and Gremaud. The pair both scored in the mid-80s, while Canada's Megan Oldham was in third at 69.76.
It was the same story in qualification as Gu and Gremaud were comfortably the top two performers while sealing passage to the final.
Heightening the drama, Gremaud overtook Gu in the second run, vaulting ahead by just 0.38 points with a scintillating performance down the slope.
Knowing she needed something big, Gu tried a difficult trick straight out of the gate. Her fall coming off the first rail confirmed Gremaud's victory. She could only shrug her shoulders after completing her run while awaiting her score.
Gremaud is the first person to win back-to-back golds in slopestyle, which dates back to 2014. She relished every second of her third run, wrapping a Swiss flag around her neck and coasting to the finish.
Avery Krumme was the lone member of Team USA to advance to the final. She finished in 11th place with a score of 52.40. The 17-year-old cut a forlorn figure when she crashed early into her third run.
Given her age, this shouldn't be Krumme's only shot at a medal in slopestyle.
The men's slopestyle competition is on tap Tuesday for the next freestyle skiing event.
Having opened her 2026 medal account, Gu will look to defend her gold in the big air on Feb. 16, and the women's halfpipe, another Gu specialty, will bring freestyle skiing to a close on Feb. 21.
Gremaud was the bronze medalist in the big air in 2022, so that could be another tight head-to-head battle between she and Gu.
