'Goofy Ass,' Seahawks' Ernest Jones Calls Out Puka Nacua Over Sam Darnold Post After Super Bowl Win
Ernest Jones wasn't a fan of Puka Nacua calling out Sam Darnold during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
During the matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, Nacua, a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, posted "sam darnold" with a laughing emoji.
Jones was quick to defend his quarterback — and remind Nacua that he's not in a position to be posting about Seahawks players.

"Ain't you at home," Jones wrote. "Goofy ass."
Nacua's post was presumably poking fun at Darnold's struggles in the Super Bowl. It was far from his best performance as he completed 19 of his 38 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown, but he avoided major mistakes and put his team in a position to win.
Darnold and the Seahawks also got that last laugh over Nacua and the Rams earlier this postseason. Seattle downed Los Angeles 31-27 in the NFC championship behind a dominant performance from Darnold, who threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
The division rivalry between the Seahawks and Rams is already intense, and Nacua may have fanned the flame on Sunday. Darnold and Jones, fresh off their Super Bowl win, will likely keep Nacua's social media post in mind next season when they face the Rams.
